Dr. Koppala is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Prior to joining FPG, she served as an assistant professor in Gastroenterology at Catholic Health Initiatives, Bergen Mercy – Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Her special interests include inflammatory bowel disease, women’s gastrointestinal and liver problems, as well as colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.

Dr. Balzano is board certified and fellowship trained in cardiovascular disease. He specializes in catheter-based treatment of ischemic heart disease. Dr. Balzano performs a range or cardiac services including vascular and endovascular medicine, cardiac and vascular ultrasound, cardiac stress testing, nuclear cardiology, echo cardiography, medical management of arrhythmias and permanent pacemaker implantation.

Dr. Gomero-Cure is a board certified surgeon who performs a wide-range of complex open vascular surgery, endovascular surgery, minimally invasive and robotic general surgery. Dr. Gomero-Cure specializes in the full spectrum of general surgery and his interests include abdominal aneurysm surgery, carotid surgery, peripheral arterial disease, hemodialysis access, vein disorders, limb salvage, skin cancers, wound care, robotic and laparoscopic procedures for GI cancers, gallbladder disease, colorectal disease, and hernia repair.

Dr. Shoemaker is board certified and fellowship trained in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology. He specializes in catheter-based treatment of coronary artery disease. Dr. Shoemaker performs a range of cardiac services including pacemaker and device implantation, cardiac and vascular ultrasound, stress testing and echocardiograms.

Dr. Turner is board certified and fellowship trained in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease. He specializes in treating congenital heart disease, rhythm disorders/arrhythmia/atrial fibrillation, cardiomyopathy, heart failure, pericardial disease, valve disease and vascular disorders. Dr. Turner performs a wide range of cardiovascular testing and procedures.

Dr. James P. Landis is a cardiologist in Venice, Florida and is affiliated with Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He received his medical degree from CETEC University Santo Domingo and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He has expertise in treating coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension & high blood pressure, among other conditions - see all areas of expertise. Dr. James P. Dr. Smith is board certified in General Surgery and fellowship trained in Vascular Surgery. He performs surgeries for a wide range of abdominal diagnoses as well as non-cardiac thoracic surgery. Dr. Smith specializes in robotic and laparoscopic procedures, non-cardiac thoracic surgery, cancer surgery, and surgery of arteries and veins.

Dr. Rosenberg specializes in sinus disorders and ear disease, focusing on minimally invasive sinus surgery and the treatment of dizziness and balance disorders. He also performs advanced microsurgical procedures on those with complex cases of hearing loss.
