Venice Theatre Performing arts theater
We're Still Here! As of March 2023, Venice Theatre remains open. After Hurricane Ian made landfall September 28, 2022, the west side of the main building, the lobby, the offices, and rehearsal rooms had some water damage, but are intact. Our two other buildings on campus – The Technical Arts Center and the Raymond Center (old temporary library) are being used. In January 2023, the Pinkerton Theatre inside the main building reopened. Please visit our website for updated information. Venice Theatre is one of the largest and most active community theatres in the United States. Located in Venice, Florida, we are a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that has been providing entertainment, education and engagement to our community since 1950.

The Glenridge performing Arts Center is a beautiful 260 seat theatre. We present all kinds of performances from Classical to Jazz, from Broadway to Pop. Because we are located on the grounds of a Continuing Care Retirement Community we are not selling tickets to the public right now, but we hope to once again offer that in the coming months. The Circus Arts Conservatory is Sarasota's 501(c)(3) nonprofit circus organization and the only circus conservatory in Florida. We are the proud home of the Sailor Circus Academy, the nation’s longest-running youth circus (76 years), and the producer of Circus Sarasota, a world-renowned one-ring circus under Sarasota’s iconic Big Top. We present year-round performances, camps, and student and adult classes in trapeze, aerial silks, lyra, trampoline, and more. Sarasota’s hometown circus organization, we are dedicated to community impact, developing the next generation of artists, and preserving a legacy that defines our region. We are more than a circus.
