Payne Park Tennis Center (PPTC) is a staffed municipal facility opened to the general public. All players wanting to participate in the recreation of tennis are welcome. We offer an amazing opportunity to enjoy tennis on 12 Har-Tru courts, in fabulous downtown Sarasota, at an economical price. Glebe Park is a great neighborhood park offering picnicking, soccer, baseball, basketball, a playground and even a trail. The park was acquired by Sarasota County in 1984 as a result of land swap with the School Board. Originally leased to the Siesta Key Sports Committee to develop little league baseball fields and a soccer field, Glebe Park is now home to Suncoast Sports Club.
