Nora Patterson Bay Island Park City park
Beautiful views of Downtown Sarasota. Located under the North Bridge on Siesta Key. Park benches, picnic tables, fishing, and walking paths.
Bonita Park City park
Home for the historical Granada Bonita Park Fountain, designated by the City of Sarasota in 1994. A circular park located at the intersection of Camino Real and Fortuna Street, in the Granada Subdivision.
McClellan Grass Patch City park
Named after developers Katherine E. and Daisietta G. McClellan. The subdivision was described as Sarasota’s “Garden Spot” back in the 1900’s.
Seminole Linear Park City park
Neighborhood passive area, benches are available, allows leashed pets.
St. Armands Circle Park City park
Home for many historic icons. Circling around the park is the Circus Ring of Fame, honoring outstanding circus performers, owners, and animal trainers. Many sculptures accentuate the park such as: “Discus Thrower” and “Mercury” (Borghese Warrior) by Gennaro Chiurazzi, and a bronze sculpture of John Ringling by Tony Lopez. Locals and visits enjoy shopping, eating and festivals inside the park.
North Lido Beach Park City park
Trails, hiking, beach access, swimming, no lifeguards on duty, is perfect for canoe and kayak launching. Pets, except trained service animals, are prohibited in the park and on the public beaches. North Lido Beach Park, acquired as an undeveloped area to remain in its natural state, was purchased through a bond referendum by the City of Sarasota in 1977. The park contains an upland area with 49 acres of Australian pine woods, grassy savannahs and walking trails, plus 22.5 acres of beach and mangroves. Bird nesting areas on the beach are protected and visitors should be careful not to disturb the nests.
Bayfront Park City park
Open 7 a.m. – 11 p.m., daily. Pets are allowed outside the Steigerwaldt-Jockey Children’s Fountain area. Popular location to jog, enjoy the sunset, walk your leashed pet or have a picnic at the playground. There are also two bayfront restaurants. Please note: The Allen Play Area and the Steigerwaldt-Jockey Children’s Fountain at Bayfront Park are being replaced soon with an all new playground and splash pad combination. That construction project is expected to begin in February 2023. Both the Play Area and the Children's Fountain will be closed until further notice and will reopen upon project completion.
Eloise Werlin Park City park
Located on the eastern base of the John Ringling Causeway Bridge adjacent to Hart’s Landing. Park includes a playground, walking trails, fabric shade structures, Hart’s Landing (bait shop), gazebo, Tony Saprito Fishing Pier, benches and allows leashed pets.
