We also create custom cupcakes, custom cakes, mini cupcakes, cosmic 1/2 pound cookies and hand-dipped chocolate Oreo's and pretzels. Buddy's Bagels on South Tamiami Trail is the Sarasota bagel shop many locals still know as Lox & Egg Bagel Company. The name changed, but we still bake bagels fresh every morning from the Lox & Egg menu, including many of the original recipes. Come in for a warm bagel and cream cheese, a breakfast sandwich on your way to work, or a deli lunch like pastrami, a tuna melt, or whitefish salad. Eat in, or order ahead online for quick pick-up. We also cater office breakfasts, family gatherings, and Jewish holidays with bagel platters, lox displays, deli trays, and coffee boxes. Plenty of free parking in the plaza.
